This school-based occupational therapy role allows you to make a significant impact supporting early childhood and elementary students (ages EC, K, 1, 2) as they navigate important developmental milestones.
Qualifications:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) in Illinois, with experience in school settings strongly preferred
- COTAs are not eligible for this position
- Strong communication, collaboration, and digital documentation skills
- Willingness to adapt to dynamic environments and student needs
Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to students in early childhood through second grade
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans that help students access their education
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to foster an inclusive learning environment
- Document progress and maintain compliance with school and district protocols
- Full-time schedule: 7:55 am – 2:55 pm, Monday through Friday, from August 17 to June 3
