Front Desk Admin | Kansas City, MO
Full-Time | Contract| $24-26ph.
LHH is partnering with a growing engineering firm in Kansas City, MO who is seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Front Desk Administrator to serve as the first point of contact for clients, visitors, vendors, and employees. The Front Desk Administrator plays a key role in creating a positive and professional experience for everyone who interacts with our organization. This position is responsible for managing front office operations, providing administrative support to engineering and leadership teams, and helping ensure the office runs efficiently daily.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Greet and assist visitors, clients, vendors, and candidates in a professional and welcoming manner.
· Answer and direct incoming phone calls and respond to general inquiries.
· Manage office calendars, conference room scheduling, and meeting logistics.
· Coordinate incoming and outgoing mail, deliveries, and courier services.
· Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders as needed.
· Prepare correspondence, reports, presentations, and other administrative documents.
· Assist engineering and project teams with document management, filing, and data entry.
· Support onboarding activities for new employees and visitors.
· Maintain organized electronic and physical filing systems.
· Coordinate travel arrangements, meeting materials, and office events when needed.
· Perform additional administrative duties to support daily business operations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· High school diploma or GED required; associate's degree preferred.
· 2+ years of administrative, receptionist, customer service, or office support experience.
· Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
· Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
· Professional demeanor with exceptional customer service skills.
· Experience supporting technical, engineering, construction, or professional services teams is a plus.
· Experience scheduling meetings and managing calendars.
· Familiarity with document control or project-related administrative support.
· Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
· Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Pay Details: $24.00 to $26.00 per hour
