In this school-based position, you will make a lasting impact by assessing, diagnosing, and treating a variety of speech and language disorders for a diverse student population. Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
  • Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA (preferred)
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting is highly desirable
  • Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong documentation and time management abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations for students with suspected speech or language disorders
  • Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Deliver direct and consultative therapy to students according to IEP goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support students’ needs in the classroom
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and prepare required reports
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning
  • Offer training and resources to educators and parents as needed
