With two positions available, you’ll work closely with a team committed to foundational student success, managing an onsite caseload of approximately 20 students and collaborating with both general and special education staff.
Key Qualifications:
- Active North Carolina EC General Education K-12 certification required
- Experience as a Special Education Teacher, ideally in an elementary setting
- Familiarity with the ECATS IEP management system or other digital IEP tools
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage a moderate caseload
- Excellent communication for effective collaboration with students, families, and colleagues
- Current resume reflecting relevant experience
- Ready to provide references and promptly share interview availability
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct instruction and resource support in both pull-out and inclusive classroom settings for K-4 students
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs using the ECATS system
- Collaborate with general educators to provide tailored instructional strategies and accommodations
- Regularly communicate with parents and guardians regarding student progress and goals
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation for compliance and best practices
