Qualifications:
- Valid Washington State Special Education Teacher Certification (required)
- Experience working with a variety of disabilities at the middle school level preferred
- Strong communication skills and a passion for student advocacy
- Flexibility, adaptability, and willingness to travel for the duration of the assignment
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality instruction and support to middle school students with diverse learning needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate closely with school staff, families, and other professionals
- Adapt curricula and teaching methods to meet each student’s unique requirements
- Maintain accurate records and foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment
