In this contract position, you’ll support one elementary school for the 2026-2027 academic year, empowering young learners to overcome challenges and thrive within their educational environment.
In this opportunity, you’ll provide in-depth assessments of students’ functional development, focusing on physical abilities and self-regulation, to guide them toward greater success. You’ll collaborate with school staff to strategize and deliver individualized treatment plans that foster each student’s strengths. Your insights and recommendations will help remove barriers within the learning environment, ensuring students have equitable access to educational opportunities.
What You’ll Bring:
- Current New Hampshire Occupational Therapy Licensure
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
- Experience or familiarity with occupational therapy in school-based settings
- Strong communication skills for working with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Dedication to student-centered care and solution-oriented thinking
Your Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive student evaluations to understand needs and inform individualized supports
- Develop and execute treatment plans that enhance students’ abilities and engagement
- Consult with educators and staff to create inclusive and accessible classroom settings
- Document interventions, student progress, and collaborate in IEP meetings as needed
- Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services aligned with district objectives
This is a full-time, school-based contract role, offering between 35-37.5 hours per week from August 26, 2026, through June 15, 2027.
