We're seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to join a supportive school team for the full school year! This position is split between Vernon Hills and Lake Villa, providing a unique opportunity to support students through evaluations, consultations, and direct psychological services.

Position Details

  • Location: Vernon Hills & Lake Villa, IL
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM
  • Guaranteed Hours: 7.5 hours per day (lunch included)
  • Duration: Full School Year

Caseload & Responsibilities

  • Split assignment between two locations:
    • Vernon Hills: Complete ECAT evaluations and attend related meetings (.5 FTE)
    • Lake Villa: Serve as a traditional School Psychologist (.5 FTE)
  • Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and interpret assessment results
  • Participate in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff to support student success
  • Provide consultation and recommendations for academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations

Student Population

  • Early Childhood through 8th Grade

Qualifications

  • Master's, Specialist, or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
  • Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychologist endorsement (or ability to obtain)
  • Previous school-based experience preferred
