Employment Type: Full-Time, Onsite
Contract Dates: August 10, 2026 – May 28, 2027
Schedule: 37.5 hours per week | 5 days per week
Compensation: $50–$55 per hour, based on experience
Position Overview
ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to join a supportive school district in Cahokia, Illinois for the 2026–2027 school year. This full-time opportunity offers the chance to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support students' academic, behavioral, and social-emotional success.
The student age group and caseload will be determined by the district prior to the start of the assignment.
Virtual Opportunity Available: This position is eligible for virtual placement for qualified School Psychologists who meet the district's technology, licensure, and service delivery requirements.
Responsibilities
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and comprehensive assessments.
- Interpret assessment results and prepare detailed evaluation reports.
- Participate in eligibility meetings, IEP meetings, and multidisciplinary team discussions.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, parents, and related service providers.
- Provide consultation regarding student learning, behavior, and mental health needs.
- Assist in developing intervention plans and evidence-based supports.
- Maintain accurate documentation while ensuring compliance with state and federal special education regulations.
Qualifications
- Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Psychologist endorsement is required.
- Candidates without an active Illinois PEL will not be considered for an interview.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
- Previous school-based experience is preferred but not required.
