Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An urgent opening is available for a Clinical IV Pharmacist to support a dynamic healthcare setting. This contract-to-hire position offers the opportunity to leverage your expertise in sterile compounding and clinical pharmacy practices while working a consistent Monday to Friday schedule with every third weekend required.
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday: 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Every 3rd weekend
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify intravenous (IV) medication orders accurately and promptly.
- Prepare and mix IV medications in a clean room environment, adhering strictly to sterile compounding standards.
- Perform clinical duties including interpreting laboratory results to ensure optimal patient care.
- Provide flexible support across pharmacy operations as needs arise.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year current experience as an IV Pharmacist with proven clinical skills.
- Active, clear Arkansas pharmacist license.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Strong clinical expertise, especially in reading and interpreting lab data.
- High degree of flexibility and willingness to assist in various pharmacy roles.
