- Provide specialized instruction to high school students with varying disabilities.
- Adapt curriculum and instructional materials to meet individual student needs.
- Collaborate with general education teachers and multidisciplinary teams.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports.
- Participate in IEP meetings and communicate regularly with parents and guardians.
- Foster a positive, structured, and engaging classroom environment.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal special education regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education.
- Active Colorado Special Education Teaching License (or eligibility to obtain one).
- Experience working with high school students preferred.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with educational teams and families.
