Qualifications and Experience Sought:
- Valid School Psychologist certification/license in Tennessee (or eligibility to obtain)
- Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or related field
- Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments and writing comprehensive reports
- Familiarity with IEP processes, IDEA, and Section 504
- Ability to facilitate consultations with staff and parents
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Prior experience as a school psychologist in educational settings is highly desirable
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments for students as referred
- Interpret data and provide recommendations tailored to individual educational needs
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, contributing to multidisciplinary team decisions
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to promote academic, behavioral, and social-emotional success
- Develop and implement intervention strategies to support student achievement
- Provide counseling services to students individually or in groups as needed
- Maintain documentation and comply with all federal, state, and local regulations
