Two positions are available for dedicated Special Education Teachers to work in Setting III classrooms with both elementary (grades 1-4) and middle school students (grades 5-8) who require specialized academic support. Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Minnesota Tier 3 or 4 Special Education teaching license (required)
  • Previous experience in Setting III classroom environments is essential
  • Expertise in adapting curriculum and instruction for students with diverse academic, behavioral, and emotional needs
  • Proven ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, families, and related service providers
  • Strong communication skills and a passion for fostering inclusive learning

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized and group instruction aligned with IEP goals for Setting III (grades 5-8) and Setting II/III (grades 1-4) students
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress monitoring as required by state and district guidelines
  • Develop and implement classroom management strategies tailored to each student’s needs
  • Collaborate closely with paraprofessionals, related service staff, and families to support student growth
  • Participate in team meetings, professional development, and ongoing program evaluation
