Key Details:
- Start date is August 10th or as soon as possible; position continues through June 3rd
- Full-time schedule, Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week
- Roving role working collaboratively with other RSP teachers across settings
- Caseload of approximately 28 middle school students
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid Special Education Teacher certification for California
- Demonstrated experience in elementary or middle school special education settings
- Strong communication, organization, and classroom management skills
- Ability to adapt instructional strategies to meet students’ individual needs
- Experience collaborating in multidisciplinary teams is preferred
- Passion for fostering growth in diverse student populations
Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction and support to students on your caseload
- Work alongside other RSP teachers to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Track student progress, maintain accurate documentation, and regularly consult with parents and staff
- Attend required meetings, professional development, and team collaboration sessions
- Provide guidance and support in both individual and group classroom settings
For this role, compensation starts at $45+ per hour and is commensurate with experience and education level.
