Embark on a fulfilling assignment providing essential psychological services to students in a dynamic K-12 setting. This full-time, contract opportunity spans the entire academic year, beginning August 18th and concluding June 11th. You’ll play an important role in supporting student well-being and academic achievement through your expertise.

Key Qualifications:

  • State certification/license as a School Psychologist (MI)
  • Master’s degree or higher in School Psychology or related field
  • Previous experience or familiarity with K-12 populations preferred
  • Strong understanding of MTSS, IEP evaluations, and functional behavioral assessments
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and collaboration skills

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for students across all grade levels (K-12)
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Work closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to provide consultative services and recommend interventions
  • Support crisis intervention and response as needed
  • Deliver direct and indirect counseling and guidance to students to address academic, social, or emotional challenges
  • Maintain appropriate documentation and contribute to compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Assist in the development of behavioral strategies and academic interventions to foster student success
