Position Overview
- Employment Type: 1.0 FTE
- Location: Grand Rapids, MI
- Specialization: Geriatrics
- Practice Information: Our Geriatrics team serves patients across various environments: home-based, facility-based, and outpatient clinics.
- Teaching Opportunities: Yes - Involvement with Residents, Medical Students, and Fellows.
- Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM
- On-Call Requirements: Shared among providers; home call only.
- Visit Duration: Sufficient time allocated to address the needs of a complex patient population.

Qualifications
- Open to recent graduates with geriatrics fellowship training or seasoned Internal Medicine/Family Medicine professionals.
- Physicians: Must be board certified in a relevant clinical specialty or board eligible, with a commitment to achieve board certification within five years of the start date (unless otherwise required by medical staff bylaws).
- Possession of an active Michigan medical license (or the ability to obtain one).
- DEA license required.
- BLS certification (must be maintained).

- Delivering direct patient care

- Documenting patient information in Epic EMR
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives
- Supporting community health initiatives
