School Psychologist - Metairie, LA

Embark on a fulfilling opportunity supporting students as a School Psychologist in a well-respected district near the New Orleans area. This on-site, full-time contract position begins as soon as possible and runs through late May 2027. Your expertise will contribute to students’ academic, social, and emotional growth, working Monday through Friday, 7 hours daily with a half-hour break, following the school calendar.

Qualifications & Credentials:

• Active Louisiana Department of Education School Psychologist certification required
• Ability to pass district-specific drug screening and fingerprint background check, along with additional credentialing
• Experience in K-12 educational settings preferred
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
• Flexibility to serve multiple schools as assigned

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

• Completing comprehensive psychoeducational assessments to support student learning and engagement
• Developing interventions and recommendations in collaboration with teachers and parents
• Participating in multi-disciplinary meetings, including child study teams and IEP reviews
• Maintaining accurate, confidential records in compliance with district and state regulations
• Promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment
