Job Description

This contract position is based onsite, with the chance to work closely with learners, teachers, and families to foster academic, emotional, and behavioral growth. Beginning in late August 2026 and running until early June 2027, your expertise will impact students in a dynamic and collaborative educational environment.
Key Qualifications and Requirements:
- Current and valid Minnesota School Psychologist license (required for consideration)
- Demonstrated experience supporting students in school settings, ideally at the middle school level
- Solid understanding of evaluation processes, IEP development, and behavioral intervention strategies
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, partnering effectively with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Flexibility to adapt and meet diverse student needs
- Openness to working onsite as a School Psychologist; candidates with a School Social Worker background and license are also welcome for consideration
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to determine student eligibility for special education services
- Develop, implement, and monitor interventions, accommodations, and IEP goals in collaboration with educators and families
- Provide both direct and consultative support to students facing academic, behavioral, or social/emotional challenges
- Facilitate crisis intervention and offer guidance to assist with conflict resolution and positive behavior support
- Maintain accurate records and timely reports aligned with district and state standards
