Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Current and unencumbered Registered Nurse license (state-specific or compact)
- Minimum of 2 years of recent CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room) nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong understanding of CVOR processes, instrumentation, and sterile technique
- Proven ability to work as an integral part of multidisciplinary surgical teams
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Circulate and scrub on cardiovascular surgical procedures under the direction of surgical leadership
- Ensure aseptic and safe environments for patients before, during, and after surgery
- Monitor, assess, and document patient status throughout perioperative phases
- Anticipate surgical team needs and facilitate efficient case progression
- Maintain comprehensive and precise documentation in accordance with regulatory standards
