Embark on a fulfilling contract opportunity supporting students’ communication and language growth across two vibrant school environments. In this dynamic school-based role, you will provide speech-language pathology services to a diverse caseload of students in Transitional Kindergarten through 5th grade. You’ll collaborate with dedicated teams and help empower students by enhancing their communication skills—from articulation and fluency to language development and social communication.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid license to practice Speech-Language Pathology (CA)
  • Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
  • Strong knowledge of best practices for school-based speech therapy
  • Experience working with elementary-aged children preferred
  • Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy services for up to 55 students
  • Conduct screenings, assessments, and develop Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals
  • Document progress, maintain required records, and ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to create tailored intervention strategies
  • Serve as a resource for campus staff, presenting on topics related to communication development
  • Split service hours between two elementary school locations as assigned
