LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a growing organization in Austin to identify a detail-oriented Project Accountant for a contract opportunity. This role is ideal for an accounting professional with experience in billing, project accounting, revenue recognition, and NetSuite.

Responsibilities
- Review project-related sales orders for accuracy, including project numbers, class codes, discounts, and alignment with approved quotes.
- Process customer billings after project fulfillment, ensuring sales tax, project details, and coding are accurate.
- Execute and review revenue recognition processes in NetSuite, including journal entries and supporting documentation.
- Review vendor invoices for proper project and account coding.
- Assist with other accounting and project-related duties as needed.
- 2+ years of accounting, billing, accounts receivable, or project accounting experience.
- Experience with NetSuite preferred.
- Strong understanding of revenue recognition and invoicing processes.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
- Project-based accounting environment.

- Professional services or technology industry experience.
