\n25 hours a week, weekends and evenings (until 8pm)\n

\nEden Vista Prospect Heights, part of the Eden Senior Care Network, is looking for a Activity Assistant for our wonderful facility!\n
\n
\nWe are seeking individuals who are devoted to fostering meaningful and purposeful lives for our residents. The Activity Assistant organizes and participates in person-specific activity programming, including one to one interventions, small group facilitation, and large group presentations. Capable of documenting individual participation and value of approaches in the medical record.\n
\n
\nJob functions will include:\n

\nAssist with planning, coordinating and implementing activities to meet the physical, spiritual, emotional, intellectual and emotional needs of our residents\n
\nCreate environments where moments of joy, independence, and wellness are the focus each and every day\n
\nHelp design programs to encourage socialization\n
\nProvide entertainment, relaxation, and fulfillment and improve daily living skills\n
\nPrepare and maintain reports on resident's progress\n
\nEnsure activity areas are safe and well maintained\n
\nGenerate enthusiasm to encourage and motivate participation\n
\n
\nIdeal candidates will have:\n
