Job Description
Step into a dynamic school-based setting where you can make a real difference supporting students from 3rd grade through 12th grade. This full-time contract opportunity offers a collaborative environment across three buildings, all conveniently located within walking distance on a single campus. You’ll be serving approximately 44 students, with a mix of direct therapy and consultative services, allowing you to engage and support a diverse caseload.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
- Prior experience in school-based settings, especially working with elementary through high school students, is strongly preferred
- Skilled in developing and monitoring IEPs, conducting assessments, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication, adaptability, and organizational skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language services for students across three buildings
- Deliver both direct therapy and consultative support to students and teachers, tailored to individual needs and goals
- Conduct assessments, develop intervention plans, and maintain accurate documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Collaborate regularly with instructional staff, families, and other service providers to ensure holistic student support
- Participate in IEP meetings, progress reviews, and professional development as required
- Manage scheduling across buildings efficiently thanks to their close proximity
