Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility (SLP)
  • Previous experience in a school setting strongly preferred
  • Solid understanding of IEP processes and special education documentation
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities with students, staff, and families
  • Creative, flexible approach to therapy and problem-solving

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students, identifying strengths and areas of need
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with IEP goals
  • Deliver direct and indirect services to students in both individual and group settings
  • Participate in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings, providing input on student progress
  • Maintain clear, accurate records and documentation according to district and legal standards
  • Consult and collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families to support student success
  • Provide recommendations for classroom strategies and modifications to enhance communication access
