Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or eligibility (SLP)
- Previous experience in a school setting strongly preferred
- Solid understanding of IEP processes and special education documentation
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities with students, staff, and families
- Creative, flexible approach to therapy and problem-solving
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students, identifying strengths and areas of need
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with IEP goals
- Deliver direct and indirect services to students in both individual and group settings
- Participate in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings, providing input on student progress
- Maintain clear, accurate records and documentation according to district and legal standards
- Consult and collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families to support student success
- Provide recommendations for classroom strategies and modifications to enhance communication access
