A contract opportunity is available for a dedicated School Psychologist to collaborate with educators, families, and staff in a vibrant educational environment near Graham, WA. This position begins September 2 and continues through June 16, with a flexible 3-day-per-week schedule—enabling an excellent work-life balance.
As a valued team member, you’ll work .6 FTE (three days per week at 7.5 hours per day), providing crucial psychological services to K-12 students. Your expertise will empower students, promote positive educational outcomes, and foster an inclusive environment where every learner can thrive.
Key qualifications:
- Washington certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
- Graduate degree in School Psychology or related field
- Experience working with school-aged children preferred
- Strong communication, assessment, and counseling skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
Primary responsibilities:
- Perform assessments and evaluations to determine student needs and eligibility for services
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized educational programs and interventions
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention, as needed
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student achievement and well-being
- Engage in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to promote students’ academic, emotional, and social development
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with regulations
