As a Travel School-Based Occupational Therapist, you'll help students develop the functional, motor, and sensory skills they need to participate successfully in the classroom and throughout their daily school routines. You'll work alongside a collaborative team of educators and related service providers dedicated to student success.

Responsibilities
- Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and assessments.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals.
- Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students.
- Collaborate with teachers, families, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Support students with fine motor development, sensory processing, self-care, handwriting, visual-motor integration, and classroom participation.
- Recommend adaptive equipment, assistive technology, and classroom accommodations as appropriate.
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and Medicaid billing (if applicable) in accordance with district and state requirements.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student-centered planning.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Active California OT license or eligibility to obtain licensure before the assignment begins.
- NBCOT certification.
- Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred.
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new school environments and work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
