Employment Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Setting: Behavioral Health / Mental Health Treatment Program

The therapist will be primarily based in our Nashville office but should be willing to float to our Franklin office as needed to provide coverage.

Position Overview:

Therapists provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions for clients in an Intensive Outpatient and Partial Hospitalization mental health facility, under the supervision of fully licensed therapists. Associate Therapists assess the therapeutic needs of clients, develop appropriate treatment plans, and facilitate group, family and individual therapy sessions. Position collaborates with clients, team members, external clinical partners, and family members, as appropriate, to coordinate care throughout the treatment process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct individual, group, and family therapy sessions

  • Complete psychosocial assessments, treatment plans, and discharge planning

  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation

  • Monitor and document client progress and behavioral changes

  • Facilitate specialized therapy groups based on experience and training

  • Utilize appropriate therapeutic interventions tailored to individual client needs

  • Maintain professional therapeutic relationships and reinforce positive behaviors

  • Perform crisis intervention and de-escalation as needed

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, families, and external providers for coordinated care

  • Supervise or co-lead groups with clinical interns when appropriate

Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field

  • Active or associate-level license in Tennessee (e.g., LMSW, ALPC-MHSP, AMFT, LPC, LMFT, LMHC, LCSW) in good standing

  • 1-2 years of experience working with mental health populations

  • Experience with substance use disorders strongly preferred

  • Strong clinical, communication, and documentation skills

  • Ability to manage crises effectively

  • Team-oriented with a patient-centered approach
