Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students with hearing needs across a diverse range of grade levels, spanning Pre-K through age 21. You’ll work within an educational environment that champions inclusive practices, serving a caseload of 48 students distributed across 25 buildings. The assignment runs from August 10, 2026, to May 28, 2027, offering a dynamic schedule and the chance to make an impact throughout the school year.

Desired Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid certification or licensure as a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing
  • Experience supporting students across multiple grade levels (Pre-K–13/age 21)
  • Strong skills in IEP development, case management, and assistive technology support
  • Proficient in progress monitoring, adapting instruction, and collaborating with general education teams
  • Ability to manage a consultative caseload and provide a range of services, from monthly consults to intensive individual instruction

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and consultative educational services, with schedules varying from monthly check-ins to thrice-weekly sessions
  • Develop, maintain, and implement individualized education plans (IEPs), collaborating closely with families and multidisciplinary teams
  • Provide training and guidance on assistive technology, supporting student access and engagement
  • Document student progress, maintain accurate records, and communicate outcomes to staff and families
  • Ensure compliance with relevant policies, procedures, and deadlines
