LHH Recruitment Solutions is supporting a company near Mount Prospect, IL with a search for an accounting specialist. This a temporary to hire role and onsite. They are looking for someone that can handle accounts payable and assist with month end close.

Responsibilities:

Review and process accounts payable

Ensure payment accuracy and approvals

Check runs

Communicate with vendors and manage accounts

Discrepancy resolution

Reconcile vendor statements and bank statements

Manage the 1099 and W9 process

Month end accruals and prepaids

Post journal entries and reconcile accounts

Reports for month end close

Back up accounts receivable

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of prior experience in accounts payable and month end close

Excellent communication skills

Ability to manage deadlines and be detailed

Collaborative in a team environment

Preferred:

Associates or Bachelors degree in Accounting or similar

Pay: $27-$31/hour

Pay Details: $27.00 to $31.00 per hour
