Step into an impactful contract opportunity supporting students across a dynamic school district in the Hyattsville, MD vicinity. Help empower learners at the elementary, middle, and high school levels through dedicated onsite speech-language pathology services. Multiple vacancies create options for full-time schedules, with start dates beginning August 10th, 2026, and continuing through the school year until June 9th, 2027 (37.5 hours/week). Locations include Forest Ridge Elementary, Swansfield Elementary, Elkridge Landing Middle, Hammond Middle, Howard High, and Wilde Lake High—with possibilities to combine assignments for a full schedule, or choose a split placement between Wilde Lake and Howard High.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Active Maryland Speech-Language Pathologist License required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates considered
  • Previous experience in school settings is highly desirable
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Commitment to evidence-based practice and collaborative teamwork
  • Ability to provide onsite services (remote not available)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech, language, and communication evaluations and therapy services
  • Develop and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
  • Provide both direct intervention and consultative support as needed
  • Maintain detailed, compliant documentation per district and regulatory guidelines
  • Participate in team meetings, professional development, and contribute to a positive student-centered environment
