Job Title: School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location: Fontana, California
Job Type: Full-Time (Part-Time Considered)
Schedule: School Calendar (Monday–Friday, Daytime Hours)
Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our school-based team in Fontana, CA. This role involves working with students across a range of grade levels to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders. The ideal candidate is collaborative, student-focused, and committed to helping children reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide direct therapy services to students with diverse communication needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
- Participate in IEP meetings and school staff meetings
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active California SLP license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred (CFs encouraged to apply)
- Previous school-based experience is a plus
- Strong communication and organizational skills
