Staff Pharmacist | Belleville, Illinois

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A pharmacy opportunity is available for a Staff Pharmacist to support ongoing retail operations. This position requires working 24-30 hours per week within standard pharmacy hours, providing a dynamic schedule with weekday and weekend responsibilities.

Location:

• Belleville, IL

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• Sunday: Emergency orders only, on-call from 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (with paid on-call compensation)

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately fill and verify prescriptions
• Provide patient counseling to ensure proper medication use
• Handle typical retail pharmacy duties adhering to professional and regulatory standards
• Manage emergency orders and be available during on-call hours

Qualifications and Experience:

• Illinois Pharmacy License (required)
• PharmD degree preferred
• Experience with PioneerRx pharmacy system is highly preferred
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
• Ability to work independently and efficiently during scheduled shifts
