Step into an impactful role serving K-12 students as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 academic year. This opportunity focuses on students with autism, many of whom utilize AAC devices, and offers a chance to make a real difference in a welcoming educational setting near Derry, NH. We’re seeking two dedicated professionals to support a caseload that typically involves 10 or fewer students, ensuring personalized attention and support.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
  • Valid state licensure (or eligibility)
  • Prior experience in a K-12 school setting is highly desirable
  • Familiarity with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices
  • Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication needs, particularly those with autism
  • Collaborate closely with educators, administrators, and families to ensure each child’s needs are being met
  • Implement individualized education programs (IEPs) and track student progress
  • Maintain clear and organized documentation in compliance with school and legislative standards
  • Serve as an advocate for the communication needs of students, offering professional insights and support
