Your experience as a School Social Worker, School Psychologist, or related professional will be instrumental in cultivating a nurturing and compliant educational environment. This position calls for a compassionate and organized leader ready to support students, staff, and families as an integral part of the Student Support Team.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree from an accredited institution
- Valid LSW or LCSW license
- Demonstrated previous experience within a school setting (K-8 preferred)
- Strong collaboration, leadership, and communication skills
- Understanding of special education processes and Tier III interventions
Primary Responsibilities:
- Oversee the Student Support Team, managing caseloads and driving compliance within special education guidelines
- Ensure quality support for both individual and small-group counseling services
- Serve as the McKinney-Vento liaison, supporting students experiencing homelessness and partnering with local agencies for resources
- Collaborate closely with school teams and service providers to coordinate student interventions
- Develop and implement effective strategies to benefit students’ social, emotional, and behavioral growth
