This contract position seeks Speech-Language Pathology professionals for a full-time assignment beginning immediately and running through the end of the school year. You’ll collaborate with students, families, and educational teams to promote positive communication outcomes across a diverse student population. We welcome SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY candidates, and even experienced SLPAs may be considered for this supportive role.
Desired Qualifications:
- Current licensure (Texas SLP or SLPA)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) in progress preferred
- Experience serving school-age children and familiarity with IEP processes
- Strong clinical skills in pediatrics within a school-based or healthcare setting
- Bilingual English/Spanish ability is highly valued
- Open to candidates with knowledge of digital therapy tools and/or teletherapy
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language services to students according to their IEPs
- Assess, diagnose, and develop intervention plans for a variety of communication challenges
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to support student progress
- Document sessions and maintain accurate records in compliance with state and federal requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning
- Embrace flexibility with scheduling, including possible hybrid (on-site/remote) services
