LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a well-established professional services organization in Houston that is seeking an Accounts Payable & Office Administrator to join its team. This position is approximately 60% Accounts Payable/Accounting Support and 40% Office Administration. The ideal candidate will have solid AP experience and be comfortable serving as a key point of contact for office operations, visitor support, and administrative coordination.

Accounts Payable & Accounting Support
- Process vendor invoices and ensure timely payment processing
- Review and reconcile corporate credit card expenses
- Prepare and process checks, reimbursements, and payment requests
- Maintain vendor records, W-9 documentation, and supporting files
- Research and resolve vendor inquiries regarding payment status
- Track invoice activity and maintain AP reporting schedules
- Assist with month-end accounting activities and expense tracking
- Support annual 1099 preparation and reporting processes
- Assist accounting leadership with reconciliations, reporting, and special projects
- Maintain accurate documentation and records for audit and compliance purposes
- Open and close the office each day
- Welcome visitors, clients, and vendors in a professional manner
- Coordinate conference room scheduling and meeting logistics
- Arrange office services, maintenance requests, and vendor support
- Manage office supply inventory and purchasing
- Support onboarding logistics and general administrative processes
- Assist with office events, meetings, and internal communications
- Monitor common areas to ensure a polished and professional workplace environment
- Provide administrative support to leadership and staff as needed
- Previous Accounts Payable experience required
- Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals
- Experience processing invoices, reimbursements, and vendor payments
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Professional communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable balancing accounting duties with front-office responsibilities
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
- Ability to learn new software and systems quickly
- Degree preferred but not required
- Professional services, legal, or corporate office experience is a plus
- Must be able to work onsite Monday through Friday
