Job Position: Machine Operator Helper / General Labor

Location: ARLINGTON, TX 76010

Pay Rate: $17-18/hr

Shift: Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. Frequent overtime available, including some Saturdays

Description:

We are seeking dependable and hardworking individuals with previous construction experience to join a growing steel manufacturing team. This position combines construction, general labor, material handling, and machine operator support in a fast paced production environment. Candidates must be comfortable performing physically demanding work while maintaining a strong commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Assist machine operators with daily production activities.

  • Support the fabrication of steel canopies and other steel products.

  • Move raw materials and finished products throughout the facility.

  • Load, unload, and stage steel materials for production.

  • Assist with measuring, organizing, and preparing materials.

  • Operate hand and power tools safely.

  • Perform material handling and general labor duties as needed.

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.

  • Follow all safety policies and procedures.

  • Assist in other production and warehouse tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Previous construction experience is required.

  • Experience in manufacturing, production, or general labor is preferred.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.

  • Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift.

  • Able to work in a non climate controlled manufacturing environment.

  • Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.

  • Willingness to work overtime, including some Saturdays, based on production needs.

  • Industrial manufacturing facility producing steel coverings for gas stations

  • Team-oriented, safety-focused environment
