The Lexington VA Health Care System (LVAHCS) is excited to announce an opportunity for highly qualified candidates to fill multiple vacancies within our Radiology service.

** Recruitment Incentives are Approved, Up to 50% of Base Salary **

  • 3 Diagnostic and 2 Interventional Radiology positions available.\n
      \n
    • Fee-Basis/PRN appointments are also available.
    • \n
  • \n
  • Service is responsible for approximately 7,000 RVU annually\n
      \n
    • DR workload breaks down to 95% clinical and 5% administrative.
    • \n
    • IR workload breaks down 75% Interventional Radiology and 25% Diagnostic Radiology.
    • \n
  • \n
  • Potential leadership opportunities for Chief of Service and Assistant Chief of Service positions.
  • \n
  • Co-op/Academic opportunities with University of Kentucky Medical Center, including presentation of didactic lectures to residents/fellows and participation in academic activities such as journal reviews, Grand rounds, conferences, and lectures.

The Lexington Veterans Affairs Health Care System (LVAHCS) is a fully accredited, two-division, tertiary care medical center with an operating bed complement of 199 hospital beds.

\n

Acute medical, neurological, surgical, and psychiatric inpatient services are provided at the Troy Bowling Campus on Cooper Dr, located adjacent to the University of Kentucky Medical Center.

\n

Primary Care, Behavioral Health, Hospice Care, and other specialty clinics are provided at the Franklin R. Sousley Campus on Leestown Rd.

\n

LVAHCS also maintains four community outpatient clinics in Berea, Hazard, Morehead, and Somerset.

\n

The Lexington VA Health Care System provides care for Veterans throughout central, eastern, and southern Kentucky.

\n

The veteran population in Lexingtons primary service area is estimated at more than 92,000.
