Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting preschool students as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in California! This contract, full-time position is perfect for those dedicated to empowering young learners and their families, working collaboratively to foster early childhood communication and developmental skills. With a caseload of up to 50 children across multiple school sites, you’ll enjoy the support of another experienced SLP onsite. This assignment serves students ages 3-5, offering a chance to make a meaningful impact during a critical stage of their growth.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid California licensure as SLP (CCC or CFY) or SLPA
  • Experience working in school settings, preferably with preschool populations
  • Comfortable providing onsite or teletherapy services
  • Collaborative mindset for working closely with colleagues, including occupational therapists
  • Ability to manage IEPs and documentation efficiently for a moderate caseload
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with students, parents, and staff

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy services to preschool-age children (3-5 years)
  • Provide therapy and conduct assessments as needed, both individually and in group settings
  • Develop measurable goals and adapt treatment plans for student growth
  • Coordinate and communicate with school teams, parents, and other professionals
  • Maintain thorough and timely records in compliance with school standards
  • Support inclusion and intervention initiatives across multiple sites
  • Participate in Google Meet interviews as part of the hiring process

This position begins as soon as possible and continues through June 17, 2026, with a scheduled spring break from March 30–April 10, 2026. The school setting also has opportunities for collaboration with occupational therapy, allowing you to diversify your experience and grow your professional skill set.
