Schedule: Monday–Friday | 40 Hours/Week
Pay: Up to $42.00/hr (W2)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Buyer / Procurement Specialist to support procurement activities in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will manage supplier relationships, negotiate pricing and contracts, issue purchase orders, and ensure on-time delivery of materials. This role works closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain teams while maintaining procurement documentation and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage purchasing activities for materials, components, and services.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and supplier agreements.
• Create and manage purchase orders and procurement documentation.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Perform cost and price analysis and support supplier selection.
• Partner with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and ensure compliance with company policies.
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of procurement, purchasing, or sourcing experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar).
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
• Experience with contracts, purchase orders, and vendor management.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Government/FAR procurement experience is a plus.
