Key Qualifications:
- Current Elementary General Education Certification (K-6) for Alabama (verify at https://tcert.alsde.edu/Portal/Public/Pages/SearchCerts.aspx)
- Experience as a general education teacher in a school environment is highly preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills for building rapport with students, parents, and staff
- Ability to integrate educational technology to motivate and support student learning
- Positive, proactive approach to classroom management
Primary Responsibilities:
- Create a welcoming classroom that encourages curiosity, respect, and growth
- Communicate and collaborate with parents, co-workers, and volunteers to support student achievement
