Qualifications:

  • Valid cross-categorical special education licensure (required)
  • Experience working with students in 4th-6th grades preferred
  • Knowledge of both self-contained and inclusion teaching strategies
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills

Responsibilities:

  • Support a caseload of 8 students across grades 4-6
  • Plan and deliver instruction in a blended classroom format (half self-contained, half inclusion)
  • Develop and implement IEPs with input from families and teams
  • Foster a classroom environment promoting growth, independence, and inclusion
  • Collaborate closely with general education teachers and support staff
