Job Description
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students in a dynamic Northern California educational setting. This part-time role is perfect for a skilled occupational therapist seeking flexible scheduling while making a meaningful impact on young learners’ lives.
You’ll provide professional OT services onsite one day per week during the 2026–2027 school year—including collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and engagement with a pediatric caseload. The exact campus assignment will be determined, located near the beautiful Mill Valley area.
Qualifications:
- Current, active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in California
- Previous experience working in schools
- Pediatric occupational therapy background highly preferred
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and other therapists
Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services in accordance with students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Evaluate and assess students’ needs, developing goal-oriented treatment plans
- Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and parents to optimize student success
- Maintain documentation that meets state and district standards
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insight to educational planning
- Adapt interventions to the school environment, tailoring support to students’ age and developmental level
