Location: Philipsburg, PA
Facility: Medical Center Pharmacy Department

Schedule:

  • 10-hour shifts
  • 40 hours per week
  • Shift options: 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM or 10:15 AM to 8:45 PM
  • Weekend work required
  • No holiday or on-call responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and dispense medications under the supervision of pharmacists
  • Assist with maintaining pharmacy inventory and record keeping
  • Support clinical pharmacy staff in providing safe and effective medication therapies
  • Communicate professionally with healthcare providers and patients regarding prescriptions

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Current licensure as a Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Technician Trainee issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Pharmacy
  • Minimum of 1 year of hospital pharmacy experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently as well as part of a team
