About the Position

A respected, community-focused critical access hospital in eastern Montana is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join its growing medical team. This is an excellent opportunity to practice broad-spectrum medicine in a supportive rural healthcare environment where Advanced Practice Providers are valued as essential members of the care team.

The position is split between Urgent Care (4 days per week) and Outreach Primary Care (1 day per week), providing an ideal mix of acute care and continuity of care.

Position Highlights:

  • Full-time, Monday-Friday schedule
  • \n
  • Four days in Urgent Care and one day per week in an outreach primary care clinic
  • \n
  • Care for patients of all ages, from pediatrics through geriatrics
  • \n
  • Evaluate and treat a wide variety of acute illnesses, injuries, and urgent medical conditions
  • \n
  • Perform office-based procedures including laceration repair, incision and drainage, splinting, foreign body removal, and other common urgent care procedures
  • \n
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, APPs, nursing staff, and ancillary services in a highly team-oriented environment
  • \n
  • Opportunity to practice with significant autonomy while maintaining physician support
  • \n
  • Experience required; ideal candidate is confident managing a broad range of urgent care presentations and common procedures

  • Salary is approximately $125,000 - $150,000 annually, with compensation varying based on experience and productivity
