From July 27th, 2026, to May 28th, 2027, you’ll enjoy a structured, school-year schedule, working 37.5 hours each week.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Virginia SLP license (required)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Experience in school-based SLP services highly preferred
- Strong collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to adapt interventions to individual student needs across age groups
- Proficient with virtual or in-person service delivery
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
- Develop and implement IEP goals in accordance with state and federal standards
- Provide direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings
- Collaborate closely with educators, administrators, and families regarding student progress
- Document progress and maintain detailed records in compliance with district protocols
- Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and school-based activities
- Serve as a resource to school staff on communication disorders and strategies
