Occupational Therapist School Setting in Condon, OR
Job Description
Step into an impactful role supporting student development as an Occupational Therapist in Oregon for the 2026-2027 academic year. This full-time contract opportunity will have you collaborating across school sites, working with students from kindergarten through 12th grade. From August 2026 through June 2027, you’ll travel between campuses to provide much-needed services, helping students achieve their goals in both traditional and telehealth formats. Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) are welcome to apply, expanding the reach and effectiveness of interventions.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license (Oregon) or eligible by start date
- Previous experience in school-based, pediatric, or home health OT settings
- Familiarity with teletherapy or willingness to learn this intervention model
- Strong organizational skills, comfortable traveling between school sites
- Open to working with all ages and abilities (K-12)
- Collaborative approach with teachers, families, and other specialists
- COTAs encouraged to apply
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative OT services in accordance with students’ IEP goals
- Assess students’ needs and develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
- Document progress, maintain thorough records, and participate in team meetings
- Provide therapy both in-person and via teletherapy as needed
- Adapt interventions for diverse learning needs across age groups
- Foster skills for daily living, functional mobility, and classroom participation
- Travel to various school locations during the work week
