School Occupational Therapist | Maple Park, Illinois

Make a meaningful impact this school year as an Occupational Therapist supporting high school students in a collaborative educational environment. This full-time, contract opportunity is located near Maple Park, IL and runs from September 1, 2026, through January 15, 2027. You'll work directly onsite, providing hands-on interventions that empower students to reach their academic and developmental goals.

Key Qualifications:

• Hold an active Illinois Occupational Therapist license (OTR/L)
• Previous experience working in school settings is required
• Comfortable serving a high school-aged caseload
• This opportunity is available to Occupational Therapists only (no COTAs)
• Ability to work onsite and effectively collaborate with education teams

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy services to high school students
• Assess and develop individualized treatment plans that address students’ unique needs
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and specialty staff to integrate therapeutic strategies within the classroom
• Track and document student progress, maintaining compliance with all state and federal guidelines
• Support IEP meetings and participate in multidisciplinary team discussions
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and growth-oriented environment for students
