We're seeking passionate School Psychologists for contract roles in the vibrant South Lake Tahoe, CA region for the 2026–2027 school year. Key Details:
- Two full-time openings, 35 hours per week
- Scheduled to begin August 19
- Potential to work at two school sites or support students across the district
Qualifications:
- Valid California credential as a School Psychologist
- Experience in a K–12 school setting preferred
- Strong skill in conducting psychoeducational evaluations
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Familiarity with IEP development and compliance
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive student evaluations and assessments
- Develop and help implement IEP goals and intervention strategies
- Provide counseling, behavioral support, and crisis intervention as needed
- Consult with teachers and parents to support student well-being
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date records and participate actively in IEP meetings
- Support a positive school climate and facilitate healthy social-emotional development
