Overview:

The Centa Packer is responsible for packaging, inspecting, and preparing finished products for shipment in a fast-paced production environment. This position requires consistent attention to quality and safety while handling heavy materials and operating as part of a team to meet daily production goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pack, wrap, and label finished goods according to production specifications.

  • Lift and move heavy materials or products (up to 50–75 lbs) safely and efficiently.

  • Inspect products for defects or damage before packaging.

  • Operate basic packaging machinery, scales, and labeling equipment.

  • Stack and organize completed boxes or pallets for shipment.

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, following 5S and safety standards.

  • Follow production schedules and report any delays, shortages, or quality issues to supervisors.

  • Adhere to company safety policies and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).

  • Assist with loading and unloading materials as needed.

  • Work cooperatively with team members to ensure production goals are met.

Skills and Experience:

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

  • Previous warehouse, manufacturing, or packing experience a plus.

  • Must be able to lift heavy objects (50–75 lbs) repeatedly during the shift.

  • Ability to stand, bend, and move continuously for extended periods.

  • Basic understanding of weights, measurements, and labeling.

  • Strong attention to detail and quality control.

  • Dependable, punctual, and able to work in a team-oriented environment.

  • Willingness to follow instructions and maintain safety and efficiency standards.
