Seeking candidates proficient in school-based pediatric speech-language pathology. Whether you hold your Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP), are in your Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), or bring prior SLP experience in healthcare or educational settings, your expertise will be valued.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Connecticut SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
- CFY, CCC-SLP, and pediatric school-based SLPs considered
- Ability to develop and execute Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Experience evaluating, diagnosing, and treating a variety of speech, language, and communication disorders in children
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students with diverse needs, from mild articulation challenges to more complex cases
- Conduct assessments, write reports, and help determine eligibility for special services
- Develop, implement, and monitor progress on IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists to create a supportive learning environment
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide documentation as required
